About

Norwegian jeweler Linn Lømo reinterprets the historical jewelry form, merging the romantic darkness of Scandinavian mysticism and folklore with contemporary industrialism. Lømo´s work is a harmonious contradiction. Her creations, crafted of semi precious stones, silver, diamonds, and gold, mix the hard and the soft, the classic and the contemporary, and the dangerous and the graceful.  She places the harshness of spikes next to striking colored bands and the warm organic forms of clustered spheres, a combination that makes the collection simultaneously repellent and irresistibly tactile.

Linn completed her formal training at Parsons Paris and New York in 2006.  Subsequently Lømo did stints at J. Lindeberg and Elise Øverland working in public relations and design. She launched her brand, Linn Lømo, in 2010 and has since settled into a studio and showroom space in Chelsea New York, where each piece of her collection is now lovingly and painstakingly designed.

LØMO has been featured in magazines such as W Magazine, NYT T Magazine, Interview Magazine, Elle, Italian Vogue, Numero Magazine, Purple Magazine, and a feature in Harper’s Bazaar online and Odalisque Magazine fall 2013. Celebrities and it-girls such as Cate Blanchett, Alessandra Ambrosia, Julia Restoin Roitfeld and Lola Rykiel have worn and are big supporters of the brand.
